Roster updates

Next man up as they say. Wouldn’t mind seeing Rocket Jr in a scat back third down type running back.

NO WAY! He is the most refined receiver that runs the crispest routes that we got. We need him downfield stretching the defense and getting open. He probably impressed me more than other player against NMSU (it was my first time seeing him). I can't believe that guy with his last name and his abilities went largely unrecruited after JUCO ball.

Interesting. I think this means that the coaches really like what they see with Woods at DE. I can't disagree. He was lightning coming off the edge and will be a force on passing downs.

He's the new Prosser. We'll need anew Prosser for when he's gone next year.

Prosser is great but Woods appears to be even more physically gifted. Both really fun to watch.

I like Woods at DE. Lightweight right now, but that's one of the easier things to fix. He also looks so much more comfortable on that side of the ball too.

I’m thinking more of a slot running back, not in the backfield per se. Have him run the dreaded AC jet sweep, quick slant or flare pass. Get the ball in his hands at any cost. Return punts? Just like his dad, he’s electrifying with the ball

Bohl said he should be able to put on weight, so maybe he’s the next granderson?

I love what Bohl is doing. He’s recruiting guys that are football players first and foremost and saying that you will be on one side of the ball. Might be O or D. Gary Patterson at TCU made his team into a heck of a team by utilizing this. Could Zaleski end up at safety?! 😜

I really need to congratulate Nico. After the last few years, I hadn’t really considered him to be a factor in our running game. Kudos to that kid for working hard and getting it done. Hopefully he can continue the excellent play.

No kidding - all I expected from him was to be a receiving threat this season. I much prefer what it looks like we've got in him now, though! :D

I hope he can teach the young guys what he did to improve so much in the off-season too. It seems we have a ton of talent, and it'd be nice to have a very good running game again.
