It has been interesting this year for FA in the NFL. Most GMs think this draft is one of the best ever for depth in a lot of positions including WR. I think it is making it tough on veterans looking to land a bigger contract (the non-big name vets). I think teams are willing to roll the dice a little on draft this year as opposed to signing FA. It might be a good sign for the young guys like Herron.
