Those are sweet and well deserved, Prior to the MWC when is the last time a Wyoming Basketball team got a ring for a conference tournament? I can't even recall the year I'll do some searching.

Yes those are real diamonds and the last time Wyoming won the conference tournament was in 1988 but not sure if they received rings or not?

They did but rings in 88 were like High school class rings lol, Today rings for tournament and conference wins cost as much as the majority of us make in a year or more.

They are probably real diamonds, but they are all very small. I would bet the whole ring has <2 carats (probably closer to 1) of diamond on it. That's fine though, don't need to be super pricey and they still look great.

Shit we were both wrong lol

Per NCAA guidelines, student-athletes may only receive $415 worth of gifts for winning a national championship, and $325 if they win the conference title.

Pretty, right? Yes, but those aren’t real diamonds. Rather, they’re man-made stones meant to look real.

Jostens, a company that makes jewelry for high school graduations, college and professional championships, as well as other personalized items, has a partnership with the BCS and has created the last nine national championship rings.

I was wrong also, I thought for sure a championship ring would have real diamonds in it lol. Guess that is only reserved for the pro's .
