With the current set up and no changes for the foreseeable future say UTEP had two offers on the table right now: AAC and MWC. Who would they choose?

MWC is, overall, a lot closer and has a long history with the front range teams and has a long standing rivalry with UNM. The AAC has Houston, and to a much lesser extent, SMU. Outside of them, I don't see many appealing schools for UTEP.

Hard to tell. Certainly they have some history with many MWC schools. On the other hand, the AAC distributes more per conference member than the MWC does. That gap will widen this year because Houston and not BSU received the NY6 bid.
Honest answer is: I don't have a good guess on that.
