This could be a golden opportunity for Ike to position himself in the NBA draft. If Ike can be successful with a group of guys who were literally thrown together, his NBA resume will be awfully compelling.

2022 (NCAA tournament appearance)
2023 (largely the same team but without Ike and they finish last in the MWC)
2024 (a completely brand new team with Ike back and the Cowboys make some noise)

Hard to argue that Wisconsin isn’t a step up completion wise in the big 10 and he goes much closer to home. The portal sucks for Wyoming but his decision seems to make sense now.
