Rewatched the game

Mayfield strait up f****s people up on special teams. He's a really valuable special teams player. He's rugged. I like him.

Van Maanski catch was incredible .His heart and desire are remarkable.

Why is it that our "hurry up" offense is so potent? Why not just play with that same tempo and play selection all the time? frustrating

Because we're not built to run the up-tempo offense so much.

I would argue that we are since we move the ball so well right before halftime most games

The counter argument is that we're not built to run a pro-style offense this year.

We only seem to score when we're pushing the pace or have the defense give us a short field to work with

Sup dudes...been a while since I posted.

What a weekend! I'm re-watching the game and noticed a few things. 1) the lambs got away with a LOT of holding, watch that screen to Gallup early in the game. Rico made a great play while being tackled by the other receiver. If they get away and Rico doesn't play out of his mind there, it's possible Gallup scores. 2) Really frustrating that we didn't get the TD on that first drive to the 2; the WR drops reappeared for a while in this game (I guess not too surprising, given the conditions) and 3) No 11 for those douches should have been tossed on the Allen fumbled. He cleared lowered his head straight into the side of Allen's head.

Regardless, so glad the Boot stays in Laramie for another year! I'll be in CS next week to cheer on the Pokes to hopefully another win and the next step in winning out.
