Report card from Moby

I have noticed. Now, I think we have a good chance against the Tecs this game, due to Green and Franklin being out. I also have to say, we would make so many more baskets if Cruz and Martinez would use the glass on their mid range jumpers, instead of just clanking it off the rim or air balling it.

From someone who has tried to teach kids to play the game, is it appropriate to say "amen" in this forum to something like this? The glass exists to transform marginal shots into high-percentage shots.

I have actually seen it said that those mid-range pull-up jumpers are one of the more difficult and final shots for players to master.

Looking back, has anyone ever noticed that the last two really good mid-range shooters we have had were Bailey and Sawyer? They both came into the program with that shot as one of their strengths. Go watch a high school game in Wyoming sometime an notice how many players around the state really use that shot. This is one reason I am looking forward to the player out of Torrington. I assume that he, like other players out of the state, has developed that mid-range pull-up jumper.

Next years starters: Washington, Martinez, Nance.
Then who: Delerrious? Probably. But who is #5? A newcomer?
But still the problem will remain: bench.
So I think next year will be a down year.
