Next practice I hope all they do is practice rebounds, I've never seen a team look scared of rebounding the ball like this one is during this game. Not to mention the million turnovers we are having again.
I yelled Box Out plenty of times at the TV. I also think we really need to work on that. being aggressive going to the ball and boxing out and positioning for rebounds.
My observations:
1) UNLV (and everybody else the Pokes have played) get inside WAY too easily.
2) Too many long passes and not enought fast movement of the ball against a pressing team.
3) Pokes obviously unable to double team and press like UNLV.
4) Linskens appears to be trying harder.
5) Thiam looks like the green rookie he is - needs defensive coaching.
6) Did any Poke get a defensive rebound that didn't bounce directly to his hands?
