I've been following Wyoming football closely since Christensen took over. His first year featured a lot of excitement and that bowl game....but it felt somewhat gimmicky. This year's team looks so much better...not just better than last year's nightmare but better than anything I've ever seen from the Cowboys.
Its still early in the season, but its easy to be excited about the rest of the year. I look at the rest of the schedule and can see a lot of potential wins. A 7 win season looks very do-able and there should be some good games against SDSU and Air Force for a couple more potential wins. I think TCU and Boise State are simply too strong to have a lot of hope for those games, but I think 9 wins is achievable, if not likely.
Anyway, as a Nebraska fan before anything else, I was glad my Huskers came out with a nice win. But for the bit of me that follows Wyoming, I'm pretty excited too. Lots of potential.
