Reality

Speaking of reality, wsu is having a hard time coming to grips with their's 🤣

2 things struck me. 1) we'd never see anything like this from the WYO media which is part of our problem and 2) absolutely hilarious watching the wsu program tank without the power label. It's even more hilarious that they are still delusional enough to think they have a "coug brand" that means anything to anyone outside of alumni and they can't recognize the biggest reason is they are now a small market g6 team. I hope beyond hope that bsu, osu, and suds get to the big 12. The MWC takes fresno back and gives the middle finger to usu, wsu, and csu.
While bleak, the Daily Evergreen speaks the truth. Why WSU and OSU chose to dilute and waste the PAC loot to bring in the MW PAC stabbers - as opposed to simply merging - is beyond me. I will never understand it. For two outfits that are on the cusp of fully realizing the burdens of being G6 schools to choose to hand over their nest egg to avoid including UW, UNM, Hawaii, and Joser (they wanted UNLV and AFA and could have had them for much cheaper) borders on lunacy - tinged with a superiority complex that is wholly unearned. They made their and our beds and now we are all weaker for it. I loathe the PAC stabbers, but I wish nothing but misery and despair for WSU and OSU for what they triggered. That said, I'm sure that Utah State, Boise, and SDSU were more than active in trying to gut us with the knives fashioned by the Boogers and Infested Beavers.

The Freedom Caucus was in today's news...

One of their 'leaders' and key person to rally against nuclear energy development in Wyoming received a DUI over the weekend. According to the arrest affidavit, he told the cop that he drinks while he drives to help with anxiety...

He then apparently commented to the Cowboy State Daily that the cop was just mad because 'he knows his rights.' Not sure what right he is referring to because it doesn't appear he knew the right to remain silent very well.

What a piece of trash

Boozing while driving for anxiety is a new one.

Let’s face reality. Under the NIL Wyo has zero chance of competing in the FBS. We have what we have with coaches and since we have little NIL money to entice higher caliber players, the best we can ever hope for is a “really that’s a bowl game” appearance. Wyo should move to the FCS and be somewhat competitive or continue a lost cause and mire in the FBS. Next year we’ll be in the worst conference in FBS. Rather be competitive with a chance in the FCS than continue to be a bottom dweller in the future pathetic (FBS?) MW conference
Craig Bohl showed Wyoming has a chance. To your point President Ed Seidel and AD To B need to really grab corporate sponsorships to ensure NIL is there.

The best news of the off season is that the team hired OC Christian Taylor! A hire that Jay Sawvel should have made in day one.

WYO is positioned to do well in the new era in the g6 ranks. We need a governor to tell the bot to put more emphasis on athletics. We need to hire a president that understands that and commits to it. He/she needs to hire a smart and ambitious ad. The ad needs to evaluate and overhaul the dept. The ad needs to can pbj and crew and hire a seasoned head coach. Then, the governor needs to back the department financially and with creative funding opportunities like partnering with the tourism board.

Without commitment from the state, the bot, the president, and new ad, we might as well drop football. UW athletics needs an overhaul
Agree!
