Realistic thoughts

So what's everybody think of our upcoming game with UNLV this weekend. I'm sure Leonard will play some and it's good to see others get more PT etc...but without a larger, boisterious crowd at the AA it's going to be tough. Come on out and help us try to beat this overacheiving team, they aren't good on the road, can get rattled easily esp their coaching staff. Students get creative with your signs for former HC Heath Schroyer, and let's try to get a very important game it also will help us try to stay outta the dreaded play in game, I know we're 7th seed we have to remain there, even though we've beaten Nevada twice and Fresno once, we have to keep that cushion!!

The remaining schedule: @Air Force, we can will and sure hope we show up for this one
@New Mexico---always play them tough, but think they have too many horses
at home against the sheep: if there was any one time that we need to step it up, I really think we can beat them. If they can pack that sorry Moby with 8700, we need to return that favor at least, as we know there's going to be quite a few Sheep fan make the trek and try to rattle us. Student's again need to show up in droves and be loud and boisterous as well.

1st and foremost let's start with UNLV and pull the magic again, Sellers will hopefully get more PT and keep Bennett in check, and Josh on Anthony Marshall, this should be a fun game, let's hope the students think so as well.

Wasn't it nice to see the Sheep lose last night lol

Realistically if Washington plays I think it will be around a 5 point game and could go either way against UNLV. The two road games unfortunately I don't give us much chance, but the game against the sheep I think we have a decent shot at it and we need a very big crowd for that one.

If they are going to win any of their remaining games, this is the one. Someone should hold up a sign that says "This is what you did to our program, Heath."

If the team that beat UNR showed up we give them a match and might even beat them. If almost any other team shows up we could be in trouble.

Realistically. Realistically, I think we are fucked. I don't see a win on the schedule the rest of the year, included the pig humper in LV against Fresno State. And yet, CBI here we come...and primarily to reward the seniors with some post season...as this team is spent.

we really need to root for SDSU beating Fresno St and Boise to beat Nevada this weekend to keep our distance from that dreaded play in game.... a win for us would be awesome, and it can happen, remember last year

The title of this thread is "realistic thoughts". So, the line is Vegas -2 1/2. I am going to lay the 2 1/2 and hope I'm wrong. I just get the feeling this team is running out of gas. It's hard to keep playing really hard on defense when the offense is so unproductive.

Vegas impressed me the other night. Csewe had them in trouble and they regained their poise. I thought they would fold like origami. They are probably on the bubble and really need this win.

They aren't on the bubble at all. #17 RPI with a host of quality wins. They are playing for seeding right now.

Pokes really struggled against UNLV last time. Still feel UNLV is the most talented team in the league. Tough matchup for us with their size and athleticism, especially without Washington and Cooke (assuming they don't play).
