Realistic Expectations for 2014

We've been saying that for a few years though...

I've lost count of how times we've stated the defense or O-Line have "nowhere to go but up". At least the last three seasons.

It takes time and recruiting. Neither will happen overnight.

Hi Wyonation! I've been a Bison fan since the late 60s and, now a Cowboy fan too. It has been interesting reading this thread. I think coach Bohl is one of THE precious human beings we have. He is honest to a fault and is a most giving individual to his (now Wyoming Football) cause. It was also very telling that your AD has given coach Bohl leave to finish the season with NDSU. Would the rest of the football world be so accommodating! It will take some time for the kind of schemes Bohl has instilled here to develop at UW. He will be a strident recruiter for having the premiere O & D lines in the Mountain West. I think he will recruit linebackers who will, perhaps be a little undersized but have good speed, recognize keys and react with the best. The D backs will be fast! The defense will be fun in the coming years!

And perhaps better coaching which we will find out if there is any improvement from right away.

Well, SJSU loses Fales.

Good point. I do think they have some younger talent on that team, but honestly I'm not that certain of their roster.

They are going to be an interesting case study. I think they hit a home run with their AD hire. He started BSU on their path; we shall see what a seasoned and creative AD can do there.

I dont care if this is year 1 coming up or not. Anything less than a bowl game is a huge disappointment.

Should win two OOC games.

USU lost 22 seniors
SJSU lost Fales and WR
Fresno lost their team
Air Force will suck again
CSU will be better
NM will be better
Hawaii will be sucky again
Boise State is hard to predict what will happen
