RB position

I think we’re going to be in good hands until Waylee gets back. I keep hearing great things about DJ Jones. I think Sam Scott is a serviceable (Bohl voice) backup

Waylee is a fantastic running back when fully healthy. DJ Jones is not far behind though.

It would be nice to have both at the same time - maybe even on the field at the same time? That would be a very scary backfield.

Apologies if I've missed something (i'm sure I have) but is Dawaiian McNeely not in the mix?
Last I heard he was back practicing with the team but in a limited role. Seems to be slowly working himself back into game shape and gaining confidence back in his body. Sometimes the body is never quite the same after a major injury like an ACL tear. Even when the body does make a full recovery, sometimes the mental confidence and trust in your body isn't there.

I really liked his punishing style of running. One cut and then he was looking to run over any defender who got in his way. I hope he makes it back to 100% and sees some game time this year - he definitely has a role on this team when completely healthy.

I'm glad the coaches have the luxury of letting McNeeley get to 100% before putting him in. That RB room is pretty deep, which is a great problem to have.

Waylee, when healthy, is phenomenal. He just hasn't been able to stay healthy. Luckily, this is probably position with the best depth. Between Jones, Scott, and Ferrell they are still in good shape. Then add in McNeally and Waylee and you have 5 competent backs.
