Nah, we've gotten a few votes here and there over the years, at least in the Coaches Poll. Just from what I remember, 2017 Preseason Coaches Poll, 2019 Coaches Poll after beating Mizzou and Texas State, 2021 Coaches Poll after the 4-0 start.

Might be the first time since 2016 for the AP, though. I'd have to do some major digging.
 
I’ll be really pleased if the Pokes come out and put a whoopin on Portland St. That will be telling to me of what kind of team we have. If they come out and don’t dominate, as we’ve seen most seasons, same ole

Rankings don't mean a whole lot. When they do, the ones that matter are the CFP rankings that come out in about 6 weeks.
