I gagged a little... I hate them both so much. I think CSU is so much worse because they act like they're Alabama and have years and years and years of success to back up their bullshit attitudes. BYU atleast was good ONCE in their history.... CSU not so much...

I love playing the Sheep and I especially love beating them.

That being said, if byu* were to shut down their football program, that would be about as good as any win over CSEwe.

Yeah, they gained 4 on the play, so 4th and 1 definitely could've meant a first down instead.

On the face of it that's a decent plan. If he gets us to jump, they have 4th and 3, which 90% of the time they should get be able to convert based on how the game had gone. If they take the delay of game, then the punter has 5 extra yards to work with on a short field to stick us inside the 10 in crappy weather.

I was really surprised he didn't try to kick the field goal. That puts them up 7 (if made) or just slightly worse field position if missed than had they gone for it and not converted. I get it that the field goal unit looked terrible on the kick before and that so many things can go wrong in the weather, but I believe you play to win...hate coaching calls of playing not to lose.

I don't know what he saw, but it's up to the CSU folks to decide if they trust he was right. It's interesting that he was taking a super-conservative calculated risk, but then decided mid-stream to gamble though.
