There are very few people that can do that job well. I'm not sure it's something that can really be taught or learned over time. To some degree, you just have to be naturally good at it.They should give Keith’s job away. Seriously
He’ll go down in my book as one of the best. I think Learfield could do better than Keith. For those older than me — was Dave Walsh exceptionally good? I grew up listening to him and thought he was great, but I’m wondering how much of it was that it is a part of my childhood and there’s a nostalgia feel, and how much of it is his unique talent. Who did the play by play before him? And was he not as good?
This is me too, Dave Walsh colored my UW gamedays and I could NOT wait to hear him give me his (his quote) "words eye view"... McKinney he has always driven me nuts with his obvious calls and such i used to get so mad at him that my dad (God rest his soul) used to roll laughing at my reactions to McKinney and I still roll my eyes at him today as well.... as for Keith he's ok and hope we give him time to put his name up with our faves as well!!! Go Pokes!!Loved Dave Walsh. He was a broadcasting legend along with Kevin McKinney. I miss that duo on game day.
Kinda...just kinda...I miss the score ohhh the scoreIMHO George Kay and Dave Walsh were Wyoming's version of Pat Summerall and John Madden.
