So signing of two guards is not that strange. That gives us one less guard next year than we have this year.
 
Tough to get visual out here in the great northwest. Tough to see who will be on the floor. So, lots of guards and thin for bigs. If we go 3 guard, with one of the W's for the big can afam and nance handle the 4 spot?
 
can't get my mobile to work - must be from provo. I am in Moscow/Pullman - vandal and cougar land. I have tix to watch the cougs take on dennis erickson tomorrow, who has shafted every school i have been at. prefer the pokes in hoops as compared to all others; I've been watching since Tubs, Garnet and Ollie took Ewing to the mat. Every fall I sweat bullets until i see how we're doing - the last couple of years have been killing me. It appears we could be pretty good, if we can get a break or two. I'm a little worried about our ability to play big.

Cool! You're just right across the mountain from me then. Sucks that you have to see the Cougs and Vandals.. but you'll be right there when the Pokes visit the Kibbie Dome next year.

For what it is worth, last time Coach was on campus, he ran 3 guards (Jerron Roberst played #3) and Justin French played a small #4/baseline at about 6'6". Jeff Allen played a true center.

I have always liked to see more mustle and size across the front, but Coach has proved that he an use a smaller lineup with a single big that plays smart and stays out of foul trouble.
 
Right on. I moved out here right after don monson took a small team to the elite 8 from idaho. Might have been final four but 15 games in 16 days is a bit much (something like that anyway). I've seen a lot of 3 guard and sometimes 4 guard offense since

A team thatplays hard together can do well. 0okes have had too damn much one on one the last few years. I might be able to make pocetello for ISU, the duck pond at bozo state for sure. Where's happy hour?
