Someone else can correct me if I am wrong, but I think the open container used to go until the end of halftime.

You're correct. It was not uncommon to leave with about 1:30 left in the second and go have a beer or two at halftime and come back in for the start of the 3rd for us.

The start time for games before 4 and after 4 has always been this. It has never been enforced

I've never had any issues getting an early start tailgating but Im a little worried they might crack down this year. Won't be there for this weekend but I will for Oregon. Curious to see how it all goes

I can't imagine they will crack down on it too hard, but if someone is acting out that is when it may become an issue and they can play that card

Got ya. Hopefully it’s not enforced next weekend.

I don't get how they're going to enforce the open container after noon thing. If you're sitting outside you're RV drinking a beer they're going to come arrest you?

This just seems so damn greedy/nanny-statish. I've thought they should sell beer at the games for quite sometime. Too bad they went and screwed that experience up as well.

It's a fairly common procedure for alcohol sales.

That rule is nothing new...

Exactly. It's just that people are now reading

Maybe they should try to do something unique that fits Wyoming. I was down at Hughes a few years ago and didn't see/feel any of these restrictions. We certainly aren't leading the way when it comes to exploring new ideas and trying to expand and entertain the fan base.

What specifically are you referring to with these restrictions? I don't see anything out of the ordinary and the only thing different from previous years is sales inside the stadium and no readmittance. It makes complete sense to not allow you to leave once they allowed beer inside. I don't think there are very many stadiums that allow you to leave even without beer sales.

IDK I'm not seeing anything to worry about but that's just me. I'm excited to see how it will work but a bit worried it might be a shitshow.

As much as I loved sneaking out at half for some more tailgating, it's the right call to change to no re-entry. Most people who go out at half don't come back.

+100 & Agree with this!

I am not sure it aligns with the AD's argument of decreasing binge drinking before the game though. If you are going to put limitations on consumption, you will usually have some backfires. We actually may see more people walk through the gates trashed, and even more people sneak liquor in, than ever before...all due to the no-re-admittance policy and purchase limitations.
