Would everyone feel better or worse if our only two wins were NDU and EMU instead of the sweep of the State of Nevada? Or does it even matter who our two wins were?

The und and emu loses are absolutely unacceptable. I think I would feel " better" with those two as wins, but we should've at least won 4\5 with this shit schedule regardless of age or scheme.

Easiest path to bowl eligibility you'll ever find in big boy football.

Last year would have been a much better year to win 2 games - we had a much tougher schedule.

This year - we should have never lost to EMU and UND. (I don't think we would have lost to them if we had played them at the end of the season, though)

So, you would prefer that we lose to better teams and beat the worst on the schedule?

I think I find it more successful that we beat a decent Nevada team and we beat a surprising UNLV team. Had we only won UND and emu everyone would've flipped even more than they have this year.
Beating the Nev schools shows we progressed through the season. Beating the others would show we never progressed beyond beating the worst.

Worse.....but beating Nevada (we lost Gentry for the season in this game) and then beating UNLV showed up progress. Beating EMU and UND early in the year and then losing the rest would not have shown any progress.

Basically what Kansas said.

I repeat, losing to und and emu AT HOME is unacceptable in my book. They should've won all four AT A MINIMUM. I am not convinced we did not see the worst performance in D1 this year regardless of what the state of NV took from us.

Losing to EMU and ND are worse losses than losing to Nevada and UNLV.
But beating UNLV and Nevada are better wins than beating EMU and ND.

There was some sort of progress throughout the season I suppose. 0-5, then 2-5.
However you want to spin it, 2-10 is terrible, and we had a lot of bad losses and 1 good win vs Nevada, and 1 decent win vs UNLV.

I think this question is slightly loaded, because the angry people are going to be angry we only won two games. Beating Directional Michigan would've happened had Allen not gotten hurt. Personally, I thought the progress we made through the nice was to see and hopefully a sign of things to come.

:agree:

12 scrimmages. Nothing more or less. It is 2 wins against the worst schedule maybe ever.
It doesn't matter how you dissect it; just different ways of applying lipstick to porcine.
