Question about MWC Tourney seeding.

This more for the womens tournament but applies to both mens and womens.

If the Cowgirls and Lady Aztecs are are both tied for 1st in the MWC at 14-2 at the end of the season, meaning they will have split 1-1 with eachother, who gets the #1 seed and who gets the #2?
Is it like football, who ever had the highest ranking or more votes?

Nevermind, I found it.

If the cowgirls and aztecs are tied at 14-2, which could happen, and since they would be 1-1 against eachother, they compare their records against Fresno St. who will be the #3 seed. And in that case Wyo would be 2-0 against Fresno and SDSU would be 1-1 giving us the #1 seed.

But before that happens, the cowgirls have to win their final 7 games and that won't be easy considering they have to play @Fresno, and have SDSU at home.

Yup and if they split Fresno 1-1 they would move to the 4th seed and so forth and so on until there is a team they didn't split with. I think in the 2000-2001 Season Wyoming, Utah and BYU were all 10-4 seeding was determine the same way.

Cowgirls gotta beat SDSU at home, and if they can steal one from Fresno State on the road, they will definitely end up with the #1 seed.
