Truth is a bitter pill for the coaches. They just be careful complaining about the taste - as that same medicine will be delivered rectally if they don't turn things around.

Media has to survive and they need clicks to generate traffic to their site. Cody asked I think two questions Monday and his articles are not off base. Dion has been way more aggressive in his articles and tweets than Cody.

Now if coaches are getting mad who gives a shit. They are ALL about to be unemployed and doubtful many of them find a D1 job right away

One of my biggest complaints during Bohl's tenure was the media's unwillingness to hold his feet to the fire when needed. They'd tiptoe up to it and he'd get fucking grumbly and they'd back off for eternity.

I don't give two flying pig shits what coaches or even admin get mad. Accountability is a thing and the media needs to ask the hard questions that the fans have and discuss the very real concerns that supporters of the program have.

Don't wanna be asked tough questions or have public discussion being had about your abilities? Do a better job I guess.

Totally agree.

It sounds like Bouknight was not pleased with having his WR group production questioned.

He basically blamed it on the “offensive philosophy”.

I was personally assisting a media individual when a UW Media/Public Relations staff member stated that the best way to retain media access was to never piss Bohl off with certain types of questions.

It was a nice way of implying that if you think Bohl might be irritated with the question then you need not ask it.

It certainly did influence post game and press conferences in my opinion with the Wyoming sports media.

The entire entertainment industry is this way. Usually, it's only when something bad happens that real reporters are called in.

Sports/movies/music...they all operate like this.

Not sure they exist, but you're right, in movies only the ass kissers get access or they just pay influencer types to do promotion. It's why guys like Critical Drinker are killing it compared to the sellouts who have to try and put lipstick on shit movies
 
I might add the questions wouldn’t be as tough to answer if they had a f’ing clue about coaching football.
