Normally I would agree. But, I think Edwards deserves a chance and has coached and played on some pretty good teams. I also think he might be a more aggressive recruiter....and can hopefully get Parker Stewart to be his first big commitment.

I think you need to see what coaches are out there instead of just handing it to an assistant. That rarely works out.

I may be in the minority, but I would prefer to see a new staff. I love what Shyatt accomplished here but can't help think a change would do us good. I am not as interested in a Shyatt Lite replacement. I want someone new, someone fresh, someone with a different outlook on this roster. That just my :two cents:

EDIT: We are going to see turnover with this. IF we are going to lose recruits and current players anyways, lets let that new staff fill them with THEIR recruits.

That's a fair point. He might have more buddies out there like Heath Schroyer, who single-handedly set the program back 30 years.

I 100% disagree. Continuity is important to keep the program on the rails. This was a tough year, but I think we can all agree that the program is trending up. I would be shocked if we lose anyone because of this coaching change.
