I don't see that they really have come outta the funk that hit em last weekend. David Fales is slightly better than Brett
and Pokes struggle again.

Better at throwing picks and getting sacked.
I think he gets his fair share of yards and even a couple scores, but, I think Brett does too, plus he may get one score on the ground.
 
I'm just going to be honest I have no effin clue what is going to happen Saturday. Coin toss is exactly right. We could win or lose by 20. Which pokes show up?
 
I...have no idea what to expect. I could see Wyo winning by 1 or losing by 1. I can see Wyo absolutely rocking them. I can Wyo getting absolutely rocked.
I just don't even know where to begin with this team.
They almost beat Nebraska in Lincoln then lose at home to CSU and lose to Tx-St. They sleep walk through Idaho and NC, yet blow them out anyways. That is a sign of a very good team. They DESTROYED Air Force.
They can blow out teams, they can get blown out.
Which team shows up?
 
I predict a very ugly to watch game. One that frustrates every one of us but SJSU can't quite seem to put us away like they should and we linger around and keep catching lucky breaks (a la New Mexico fumbles)...we give up over 500 yards of offense and give up 30 points, we muster 450 yards and score 34.

Wyo is outplayed but win 34-30


If I'm wrong, no big deal. If I'm right, I'll look like an absolute genius.
 
sounds like we're all in the same boat, uncertainty sucks huh...by this time week number 8, one would think you'd have a good or bad feeling about your team, guess this is Wyoming tho...lol
 
I agree with everyone else: no idea what to expect. But I think once the game starts, we will know pretty quick. This is a game where I actually think the coin toss is critical. We need to have Brett on the field right off the bat.

Sounds about right. BackHarlow, you gonna update your banner or keep it that way for a while?
 
We have 4 wins against very bad teams. San Jose has 3 wins against very bad teams. But based on the fact that San Jose is home, we've given up an average of over 40 points a game over our last three and one of San Jose wins is against a team that just clocked us, I say we lose.

I was getting ready to buy my tickets to travel up from LA to San Jose, then the team lost to Texas St. I cancelled those plans.
 
I'm in Vegas right now and the line is 7 1/2 at the casinos I've been to. Money moving against the Pokes. Here's my problem: Air farce 1st possession - touchdown, texas st. 1st possession - td, Nm 1st possession - fumble deep in our territory, csewe 1st possession - touchdown. Based on how poorly our defense seems to start games, I'll have to pick SJSU 42-38.
 
I would rather see the Pokes lose doing double reverses, hook & ladders, onside kicks, half-back passes, fake punts, than lose with 1-1/2 yards first down run, 4 yd pass 2nd down, incomplete pass 3rd down, then punt.
