Prediction time!

I think the Pokes can win, but if you think we're going to hold anyone to under 20 points with the way our D has played you have more faith than I do. 38-28 Pokes and it very well may be 24-21 going into the 4th quarter.
 
There once was a day...when we would talk about UC Ringolsby as an upcoming opponent, and laugh.

So very sad, that those days are gone.

There's been a definite improvement in the defense. Not saying they won't allow some mistakes, but much improved from last year.

Lots of people predicting 40+ for the good guys. When's the last time we hung 40 on anyone during regulation?

I'm one of the 40+ guys. Unless we get plagued with turnovers, or Bohl calls off the dogs in the 2nd half, I feel we could put 50+ on them. Last year Northern Colorado, Cal Poly and Hawaii put 40+ on them and they're D isn't looking better statistically than last year. Then again, playing Oregon will do that. My confidence is more their play than ours alone. For some reason I see us marching down the field on these guys at will. I think they'll score, but we should as well, in bunches. I feel that this year the team is more what we saw for 7 quarters, than what happened in the 4th quarter last week.

The way we eat up clock when things go well, we'd have to have a few 50+ yard plays to leave enough time on the clock for 40+ points.
