The old "we have a shit ton of shirts, what the fuck are we going to do with them" scenario.

I am all for helping out the fellow human, don't get me wrong, but can we start out in Wyoming maybe, or at least in the United States, please???????
 
I would tend to agree, but these people are the poorest in the world. Our street bums would be considered rich compared to their whole population. A dollar go a long way in Haiti.
 
The hospital they'll be visiting is named after Rueben Narcisse's father, so I imagine that's how the project came to be.

That's exactly how it came to be.

Not to stir a pot and have everyone attack me... Why do people have something to say when there is good being done? Sure it would be nice if they helped out the poor here but they didn't so don't like... make it a negative or critisize them for going somewhere else.

Well...not to attack, but we all have our own opinions.

Like Dennis Miller used to say at various times, and that I agree with...Americans need to learn how to help Americans, first. A broad but valid statement. This is a major problem in our country, that will someday bite us all in the ass.

Oh, and this one I love as well..."It is interesting, in America, you can see a group of people literally trample over a homeless guy laying in a puddle of his own piss, to chastise some lady that happens to be wearing a scarf made of chinchilla."
