I would be absolutely shocked if Wyoming makes the NIT tournament regardless of whether Boise State makes the NCAA tournament or not.
Yes, if you look at RPI alone, Wyoming should be in the discussion for a spot in the NIT...but one look at the season and how the make-up of the teams has been altered since that hot start and it becomes clear that Wyoming has no business in the NIT.
You have to realize that the committee will be evaluating the team as it is currently constructed. Without Luke Martinez, this team is 5-12. Of course, some of this has to do with playing a very tough conference schedule, but the committee will not put as much emphasis on "good wins" against Colorado, Denver, Illinois State, etc because those wins came when Martinez was part of the team.
