That was back when we had the under 8 timeout cotton eyed Joe band dancer.

I remember on occasion other teams would look up from their huddle to see what was going on - why the crowd would suddenly get so loud during a time out. Really brought great energy for the final 8 minutes of the game. Man that was a great time to be in college for basketball. Maybe that is why I took a few extra years - so I could stick around longer ...

That would be Caleb. He actually really got tired of doing that, but continued because the fans loved and expected it. He was pretty happy that he was done with it by the time he graduated.

That is something that the current students lack, No one ha sparked something new that would pump the crowd up. As small as it was he really pumped the crowd up during that era of basketball in the AA there is a reason it was called the Dome of doom it was beyond loud.
