And I've said it before, go ahead and look for it, my opinion of and hope for Wyo football changed when Bretr declared and Thompson transferred. Not when I "ran home" 3 weeks ago.

Back to topic, any other words on this? I see his only visits scheduled were Notre Dame and USC.
If nothing else, I'm glad to see we are at least offering this type of player. I probably missed it from previous coaching staffs, but my perception was that if they didn't think we had a chance, they didn't try. I could be wrong on that, but I like the approach of throwing the offer out no matter our odds of landing.

Now the difference might be that Bohl is actually making a pitch to these kids where DC might not have but I can't say for sure.

It happens all the time where players will take a position at a "lesser" program. Hell, we already have one this upcoming recruiting class. I'd bet exactly zero dollars that this kid will be on our roster, but it does happen. Are there any P5 teams that have less bowl wins in your lifetime than Wyoming? Would these type players than pick Wyoming over those teams. I am not disputing your logic, but it isn't always a slam dunk where the best player picks Alabama, the second best picks (fill in your SEC team here), etc... Sometimes players do go where they logistically prefer, or where they feel a connection with the coach, or where they can be the big fish in a small pond from day one. What you can sell a 4 star recruit on is that many 4 star recruits go to big programs and fizzle and never make an impact. Whereas, I would assume, that when they come (albeit rarely) to a smaller program, they have better results.
