Pokes @ Zips Game Thread

Roast me, but I’ve seen Wyo lose to some crappy teams early in the season, at home. No doubt improvement need to happen, but I’m happy to see a TD scored and a W away. Hopefully Kaden gets a lot of work on passes this week and on to 2-0.

We moved the ball 260 through air and 166 on ground. Durr had 190 yards receiving. We shut them down. Didn’t string enough together for more points and Akrons D-line really surged when they needed it. Not ideal but not as bad as some are making it. Not like UConn. I’ll take a shutout on road

Amen, brother. It's one game. There are a whole lot of new players out there. I thought there were some good moments on both sides of the ball. Let's get to 2-0 and then we can see where were at vs. the big boys.

WYO wins and covers so there's that.

Some good things to build on but man that was hard to watch, lol. Pretty bad football all the way around. D looked pretty good but Akron was dysfunctional so who knows.

I’m not sure what to make of what I just watched.

Kaden looked awfully inaccurate. I was very disappointed by his performance. He has to be a lot better if we are going to win more games than we did last year.

Outside of Durr, our receiving corp underwhelmed again. Dropped balls, poor body positioning, lack of awareness from that group as a whole.

Sam Scott needs to see the bulk of carries at RB. Was not impressed by the other guys.

Defense looked great, but that Akron offense was pretty anemic. Their QB was not good at all. We were also very lucky their best player went down with an injury.
