Sorry for the late response to all the post, I was at the hospital after slicing my wrist in pain. That was the ugliest first half I've seen from the pokes in years. I was afraid we would come in a little cocky after beating them twice and looking forward to CSU. Not quitting on them as AF could go cold, but Wyo has to get hot for about ten solid minutes to get back in this game.

Really tough to excuse Edwards for this that's for sure. I don't know that I've ever seen a team so unprepared and unfocused to play a win or go home game. When a coach refuses to adjust and uses coin flips to pick lineups, this is the result.

Everyone has said it all season, start your best damn players. Quit digging a damn hole to start every game. This time he really screwed us. Only an idiot continues doing something that doesn't work and expects different results.

3 of our "starters", Jmac, Liebs, and Aka Gorski, are a combined 0-8 from the arc, 0 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 turnovers, 5 fouls. It took an entire season and one half of a conference tournament game for Edwards to finally put JJ in to start a half.
Can't put it all on Coach E, the players need to make shots and how the F do we have 12+ turnovers in the first half? I say its 50/50 on blame. We will see the Pokes true character in the second half. If they come out flat and let AF run away with it, Pokes have the wrong coach and the wrong players. I bet a few transfers are in store if this gets ugly and that would be sad. I thought if the Pokes did well in this tournament, we could keep the unit together and have a really veteran team going into next year with a chance to win the conference, the tourney and make it to the round of 32 in the NCAA tourney. Yes, I am delusional and since I'm being delusional, why not the Sweet 16 in 2018? Wait, maybe I should stop drinking beer with hard shots, but I'm hoping if I pass out I won't see anymore pain. Glad I'm not in Vegas watching this ugly nightmare. Go Pokes, won't give up on ya.
