Some good comments, I'm on the side that Sutton would be the better back for us. I'm not against the others Miller has proven himself but Miller I feel is better at receiving out of the backfield. He doesn't seem to hit the gap very quick and that is bad. Sutton hit the gap fast against AFA last year which was good.

I'm worried about the game tomorrow, If we win it's ok we were expected to, if we dominate it's ok we were expected to we have a better team. If the defense plays good someone will still say that the defense was better because Cal Poly was weak.

This is a no win situation we have to win and we really need to dominate I mean hold Cal Poly to less then 100 yards for the game that is the type of showing we need tomorrow.

Whoa. That's a pretty big standard. I'm no Big Sky expert, but Cal Poly isn't that bad, are they? Its been a long time since UW dominated someone defensively to the point they held them under 100 total yards. I won't go into stats....but IMHO....

Win by 30+ points without Smith, and this team still has a shot at 7-8 wins.

Win by 10-20 points, and it will be a tough but doable road to bowl eligibility.

Win by a TD or less (God forbid lose) and this team, no flame, could realistically finish with 3 wins.

You know everyone not only holds higher than normal expectations, I'm not saying by any means that Cal Poly is bad the opposite they put up 41 in their game last week. But Wyoming defense right now has pretty much everyone worried to tears. The only way people are going to take this defense serious is if they shut down Cal Poly tomorrow and I mean completely shutting them down.

If we struggle people are going to take that as a sign we can't even stop an FCS team how can we stop a MWC team. If we need last min win people are going to say the same. This team tomorrow has to not only show up but to keep asses in the seats and the stadium with some people showing up Wyoming by all means has to dominate this game on both sides of the ball and if they don't Attendance could easily take a nose dive.

I'm not saying we will lose the season just based off the game tomorrow but I am saying starting the season 0-3 with 1 team being FCS we will most likely take an Attendance hit. It's hard enough to keep people interested in the Cowboys as it is can you imagine how bad it could be?

It was good enough conversation that after my next check i would consider getting XM just for that one segment as you aren't going to hear shit about the pokes anywhere else. Yet another reason to miss the Mtn was conversations with Wyo coaches.
