Pokes simplify offense

Wyoming fans want to see the spread offense that Dave Christensen used with so much success at Missouri.

They expect to see the scheme that Christensen has penned books about.

Christensen and his staff want that, too.

But they know that transforming the Pokes into a spread offense will take time. And they aren’t willing to stick with the spread at the expense of losing football games.

“I don’t worry about that. That’s the least of my concerns,” Christensen said this week when asked about fans looking for a timetable on the spread offense. “My only concern is trying to score more points than the opponent and winning games. That’s what I was paid to do. I was paid to build a program and win football games.

Yep our offense was simple, lets just not score ever again that pretty simple. Lets simplify our Defense and not stop anyone too.

When an offense comes out with 4-5 WRs, use DBs and NOT Linebackers! :tickedoff:

Because they matched him up with WRs in long routes. He's fast, but most LBs are not meant to cover WRs in long routes.
