Pokes @ Sheep GDT

Not that I needed another reason to loathe csewe, but to charge 10 dollars to park in that field that resembles dustbowl Oklahoma is the last straw. They owe everyone who had to park in that dust storm a new air filter.

BTW, a shout out to our fans - who made a lot of noise tonight. Would love to see a sellout next week for air force.

Heh, parking in this state has become a complete racket. Nothing feels as bad as paying $20 to park in Denver when you've managed to get Rockies tickets for like $5 each.

I thought they paid people to take Rockies tickets.

I think it's important, especially for me, to acknowledge that while we've seen some real shitty performances, the job of Vigen and Stanard have to be commended tonight. It's easy to pick good things after a victory but I believe that our MVPs tonight were them. FINALLY they put the best players in the most advantageous positions and they responded. Tonight's victory was without question the best played game under Bohl and hopefully is a sign of things to come. We have to build off this going forward. This was a well played game all around.

At least this year they've been fun to watch. Young and talented team - just need help with their bull pen now that they've got several promising starting pitchers. LeMahieu is winning the batting title, Arenado's tied for most Home Runs in NL, and will likely have the most RBIs as well... and he'll get another Golden Glove too. Next year they might actually have a chance to make a run... maybe.

Agreed. I was mocking vigen and Stanard tonight a little, but they dialed up some good plays tonight. Gosh, great win.

What a great game. Pokes hit them in the mouth over and over again. Hopefully the train keeps rolling. I'll go to bed tonight a happy man. God it must suck to be a CSU ram.

Great to see such a solid night of play calling. They have been keeping the sheep guessing all night nothing extremely obvious.

We need more of this playcalling.

Alot of it was the pokes started out throwing the ball pretty heavily - and having success doing it. CSU probably was thinking we would try to run the ball all game. They were wrong. Once we had our passing game going, we were able to start running the ball, and then getting the PA pass being believable.

We did get conservative in the 4th - but were up by 3 scores - and the defense was holding pretty well.

Our defense is defintely a bend but not break defense this year. Pretty good at stopping the run game. The fly sweeps were getting us more than I like. The takeaways were aweseom.
