Pokes @ SDSU

Just got done watching the Rousey fight and Holly Holm lit her up.

Fight wasn't even close. She was knocked unconscious and had blood all over her face.

She looked like our football team

Would be nice if we would score one time.

Can't believe we kicked a field goal
I can't believe your still watching this

I'm not really lol.

Just checking the score. I am watching the Arizona Utah game in overtime.
Ha thats what I'm watching. Zona has no backup QB that can pass. Boy does that sound familiar

Boise looks to fall. Lobos lost their starting QB and still piling the yards on. Barring a miracle, they should be favored against the Rams next week.

I won't be too sad to see Coffman go honestly.
On a one win team I don't think anyone is irreplaceable. I can't wait to hear Bohl drone on with the exact same quotes for the 11th week in a row post game.

Now that was a good game

Yeah I had Arizona +5 so I was happy .

Rocky Long is a hell of a defensive guy. They pushed us around like no other. Our defense didn't do great - but they sure didn't get help from the offensive side of the team either.

I sure as hell hope Bohl has a bunch of tough linemen on both sides of the ball redshirted this year.

I watched every minute. I am seeing a lot of potential, but no improvement.

Bob Davie took over a worse situation than Bohl did. It has taken him years to turn the ship. Good for NM for a change. Bohl will get us to a formidable spot.

Okay. Just to put this out there, SDSU is running what we are building up to on offense. Big o-linemen running over defenders and making big holes for the RBs. And SDSU's o-line is experienced and filled out. How do I mean?

SDSU o-line-
LT-6'7 310lbs JR
LG- 6'5 325lbs RS Junior
C- 6'5 305lbs JR
RG- 6'4 315lbs Senior
RT- 6'7 335lbs Senior

Compared to our o-line which has guys transitioning from the spread or only in their first or second year here.
LT- 6'5 295lbs Sophomore
LG- 6'4 293lbs RS Junior
C- 6'3 268lbs RS Sophomore
RG- 6'2 297lbs RS Senior
RT- 6'6 260lbs Freshmen

Our older guys came from the spread offense, meaning there is a drastic play difference from that. The younger guys haven't filled out yet and are still learning the system. Next year, when the guys have filled out and the new ones come in, I think we'll begin seeing a good o-line getting a lot of push consistently. SDSU has had several years to recruit and develop guys, and we can see that it is paying off quite well.

SDS O-line is big now, and their recruits coming in are both 6' 6", one listed at 330 and the other at 345 lbs. Our O-line recruits average 279 lbs, which is lighter than what you show above. Then again these are HS weights and after they hit the training program they should get bigger/stronger, but so should SDS recruits! Your comments made made me take a look at the Rivals commitment site. I sure hope Bohl and the guys are finding diamonds in the rough, because the other MW teams recruit lists look like a planetarium with all the stars next to the players names. Our's, not so much.
