Have more faith! Anyway I'll broadcast the game if anyone can't get cbssports just let me know so I can get everything setup ahead of time.

I'd like the Pokes to keep in close and make it competitive. Missouri is a solid team who beat the crap out of Nothern Florida. However, they struggled against Western Illinois.

I just want to see an improving team that is competitive and plays hard. Is that too much to ask?

I think the Pokes have a small chance if they can contain Ricardo Ratliffe. If not, then forget about it. Ratliffe is built in the same build that Diaz is for Northern Florida. If you guys remember, Diaz absolutely dominated us in the paint. I think he went something like 10-13 from the field against us. We have to have Gibson and Waddell play a very physical game against Ratliffe if we want any shot at winning.

As far as Mizzou goes, I think they are vastly overrated as a team. Personally, I don't see them in the top 25 at the end of the season. They may end up making the NCAA tourney, but they are nowhere close to the 13th best team in college basketball. That being said, they still are a better basketball team than we are.

Even if we play well, I see this game going much like the Tennessee game last year did. We might hang for a half, but their depth and talent will pull away in the 2nd half. If we don't play well, then most of us will be shutting off our TV sets at halftime and sending posts about how HS needs to be fired as soon as they get back from Cancun.

As good as I feel after the sheep shearing, this is HS were talking about. I just bet big on Missouri (-18). I don't like betting against Wyo. but HS makes it easy. He's done a horrible job for 3 years. What makes anyone think he suddenly discovered how to coach?

Unfortunately Wyo has been hit with every petty foul you can imagine and I've watched Mizz walk more then once and getting the call on a charge when they sure as hell aren't set.

Wyo has done a good job not letting Mizz inside but they just started hammering us from outside :(

Well, 4 and a half games in and I think we have a pretty good idea about what this Cowboy team does well and what it struggles with.

Strengths:
Defense - Pleasant surprise after the past few seasons. They seem to really thrive in the match-up zone, even against more athletic teams.

Weakneses:
Ball Handling - Still way too many turnovers
Passing - Still way too many forced/poor passes that lead to turnovers
Fast Breaks - By far the worst team I've watched all season at finishing a fast break, even when we have the numbers
Shooting - Still can't knock down an open shot if there is the slightest bit of pressure
Finishing - We have to be top 10 in blown dunks and missing layups
Free Throw Shooting - If I were the other team, I'd be aggressive as hell once we get to the 1-in-1 because chances are we aren't going to make the first shot anyways (that's just as good as a turnover)

The players seem to be working hard and I don't think HS has given up. Frankly, the schemes seem to be much better this year, even offensively. The players are put in positions to score points, they just aren't getting it done. Thats a flaw in the recruiting, which ultimately lands on the shoulders of HS. I don't think he is as bad at the X's and O's of basketball as some of you think. Given some elite talent, I think HS could really do some good things. I just think he lacks the ability to evaluate talent well, and thus, has ended up with a team full of players that can't get done what he is asking them to do.

It looks like we are rebounding well too. It's too bad we can't hit a 3.....otherwise, it could be a close game. Than blown dunk and subsequent "T" on M'Baye was what we need to get away from.

I think the critical thing for Wyo that I see them do way to often is what I like to call passing for style, Just pass the fucking ball quit jump passing and quit trying to pass fancy just pass the ball.

The team really seems to be struggling shooting the ball from 3... not a ton of those going in. 59-53, 6:15 left.

Lost by petty calls and the inability to shoot 3's and make anything from the charity stripe. I'm still proud of them they hung with the #11 ranked team in the nation until the end. Sure people will say Mizz was shooting bad but so was Wyo so by no means is that an excuse for either team.

Tomorrows game should be either at 5pm or 7:30 I would assume the 3rd place game will be earlier.
