Pokes might have something.....

They definitely came to play today. They looked motivated and believed they could hang with Tech. Those two things go a long ways in closing a talent gap.

But one game does not define a season. See the CSU game in football. If you take the entirety of the season up to this point, I would peg the Pokes to finish around 6th in the MWC if I were to take a guess. They are better than I thought they would be, but I don’t think they are a team that can challenge for the top of the conference this season.
