Pokes In the Pros

Chuck had to retire becuase of injuries last I heard. As for Wendling he is living in Cheyenne I heard and was released from the Bills because of somekind of injury. Wendling was in the top 5 in special teams tackles in the entire NFL last year so if he gets healthy he should find a team but he may not play this year.
 
John had to have knee surgery. He thinks he'll be picked up sometime at the end of August, unless his knee keeps him out a year.
 
I think Moore will get playing time, if only at punt/kick returner. He's fast, agile, tough as nails, and always fights for more yards.

I agree but he needs to show everyone that he can hold on to the football

That's the thing with Fletcher, if you don't have at least 2 guys on him, he'll bulldoze right on through.

Malcom Floyd's started for several years now... you probably read an article about him being San Diego's #1 WR since Vincent Jackson is suspended for the three first games at the very least.

I watched this game hoping Moore would be used a lot more than he was. Recap from what I seen:
* The colts offensive running game is poor
* The colts didn't want Moore to be very involded in the game by giving him only 4 carries :brick:, he rotated in with some James dude (Moore on first down and the James kid on 2nd, 3rd, and punt/int). Even when the niners were up 24 point the colts continued to get sacked and throw interceptions.
* The return game featured that James dude and some white reciever, I never saw Moore in there, and there were plentiful kickoff return chances.
* The first preseason game Moore should have had way more touches, makes me think he will not make the first cut of players. Hope I am wrong, all 4 of his carries were solid runs so it disapoints me that they only gave him 4. Indy is not a team that tries to win preseason games (won five in the four years) so they should have given him at least 10 touches, IMO. :twocents:

My thoughts, take them with a grain salt

Main reason he didn't start much in previous seasons was injuries, and then Chambers ;)

Trust me, I'm a Chargers fan.

Because he DID start last season at the #2 spot, opposite Vincent Jackson. He also started a whole bunch of games in 2008 after outplaying Chambers... so last year Chargers just got sick of it and sent Chambers to KC. :)

He is a damn good returner with his speed, agility, and with his fighting for every yard once the D starts to swarm him. It also helps that he is from Indianapolis too.
