Pokes in the Pros: Week 3

Josh Allen was seen disgusted when looking at his stat sheet following Week 3 of the National Football League’s season. He wasn’t his sharpest, but the only stat that mattered was the first number in his team’s record.
Allen helped Buffalo grind its way to a 3-0 start with a 24-16 win over the Los Angeles Rams. He was 16-for-26 for 204 yards with two interceptions, while adding 22 yards on eight carries with two touchdowns.
For the season, Allen is 56-for-86 for 784 yards with five scores and a pair of interceptions. On the ground he’s rushed it 28 times totaling 114 yards with half a dozen touchdowns.
Buffalo hosts New England in Week 4.
Below is a list of all the former University of Wyoming Cowboys and how they did in Week 3.

Andrew Wingard (Arizona Cardinals)
Wingard put forth a phenomenal effort in the Cardinals’ 36-30 loss at San Francisco on Sunday. He collected a team-high 10 tackles.
For the season, Wingard has logged 22 tackles, three tackles for loss, one pass defended, one interception and one forced fumble for the 1-2 Cardinals.
Arizona travels to the New York Giants in Week 4.

Carl Granderson (New Orleans Saints)
Granderson enjoyed a solid game in the Saints’ 35-27 loss to Las Vegas on Sunday. He made four tackles.
For the season, Granderson has 11 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one quarterback hit and a blocked field goal.
New Orleans hosts Atlanta on Monday Night Football.

Marcus Epps (Philadelphia Eagles)
Epps continued his early-season strong play in the Eagles’ 27-7 loss at Chicago on Monday night. He registered five tackles.
For the season, Epps has recorded 14 tackles for the 2-1 Eagles.
Philadelphia hosts the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4.

Treyton Welch (New Orleans Saints)
Welch didn’t play in the Saints’ 35-27 loss to Las Vegas on Sunday.
For the season, Welch has participated in 28 snaps, 15 on offense and 13 on defense.
New Orleans hosts Atlanta on Monday Night Football.

Frank Crum (Denver Broncos)
Crum has begun the season in Denver on the injured reserve list. The Broncos defeated the Los Angeles Rams, 30-26, on Sunday to move to 2-1 on the year.
Denver travels to San Francisco in Week 4.

Caden Barnett (Chicago Bears) and Evan Svoboda (Los Angeles Chargers) are both on their respective team’s practice squads. John Michael Gyllenborg (Kansas City Chiefs) suffered a season-ending injury in fall camp.
