It switched back to undeclared, then went back to the Pokes....but he still hasn't been added to the teams commitment list with Marshall.

they just added him to the teams commitment list on ESPN....hopefully thats a done and sealed deal. What a freakin recruit for Wyoming! Stole him from the likes of Tennesse, Seton Hall and Mizzou!

All of this just adds to a very strange recruiting process. I don't know how many times I read where he narrowed his choices.....each time to different teams. Now the back and forth with ESPN. Bottom line is, this would be a hell of a pick-up at this point. Best recruit in years and it is the late signing period.

Agreed, very strange. From the bits you read it makes you wonder how amazing this coaching staff might be with recruiting. Going in late on a recruit that seemed pretty set on some bigger schools as his final choices and then decided to head to Wyo! I"ll take it!

Nice pick up for the Pokes. This guy is a carbon copy of Tyrone Marshall, except with more size and a whole lot higher ceiling. He is listed as a center but really plays more like a wing. His post moves are still very raw at this point, but nothing that some solid coaching can't get up to par.

I don't think there is any doubt that Lekan Ajayi will be an impact player for the Pokes at some point. The question is how quickly he will emerge.

ESPN RUMOR about an SJU recruit who actually is going to Hampton instead:

"It will be interesting, though, to see if Meikle can qualify for 2012. Kevin Armstrong of the Daily News recently reported on Meikle's high school -- Quality Education Academy -- and though there is little indication of the status of Meikle's academics, Armstrong writes the NCAA is reviewing players on a specific "case by case" basis if they prepped at QEA."

I hope that this doesn't pose any problems for Ajayi!!
