PokeNation on Twitter

For those of you with Twitter accounts, I've created a Twitter account "PokeNation" that I'll use to deliver play-by-play and other Wyoming football information. Just search for "PokeNation" and add it as one of the accounts you are following.

Sweet!
You going to make it to many games this year?

None in person. Thanks to the MTN Network, I'll be using my laptop's wireless card to post comments while I watch. Those who can get the MTN or who aren't around a computer to get All-Access can use Twitter to keep up with there cell phones or PDAs.

That'll be sweet. The MTN is tough to find in Missoula unless I go to the bar and run up a ridiculous bar tab, so that'll be helpful. Most of the time the Pokes play at the same time as the Griz, so I usually have the Blackberry up watching the PBP on ESPN or something. Twitter will certainly benefit us. You're not going to go all Oprah on us, are you? With the million followers and all... :)

I think that Twitter is good for fans from far away, that can't make games...and old ladies that can't walk up the tin stands at the War any longer. It may be worth checking out...but I say, if you have the means to get to watch the Pokes live...get off your ass and do it. Preaching to the choir I know, but still...

I look at it as this. There are 6 home games this season, 3 games within a couple or three hours driving time (CU, AFA, CU), maybe a trip to Salt Lake Shitty, throw in either a trip to Boca and / or a trip to San Diego, and a fan can see EVERY game in person! At least 10...right? Absolutely doable.

I'll PM you my bank acct information for the game in Boca. :)

Yeah, it definitely helps w/ the distance fans though.

In all reality, Boca is probably the only one not realistically "drivable" from Wyoming / Colorado. But you gotta wonder, would it be worth it (to fly & stay & play)? I have a recollection of the beaches there being quite eye opening! ;)

A spring break recollection? :)

Oh yes...and a follow up mid-summer recollection as well. You gotta not want to have fun...to not have fun...if you know what I mean. Just be sure to put a sock on the dock.
