Poinsettia Bowl Ticket and Event Information

Laramie, Wyo. (Dec. 4, 2016) -- Tickets to the 2016 San Diego Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl featuring the Wyoming Cowboys and BYU Cougars are available now. Fans are encouraged to purchase through the WYO Athletics ticket office to support UW & sit in the UW section. Tickets start at $35 and can be purchased at GoWyo.com/tickets, in person at the WYO Athletics Ticket Office, by calling 307-766-7220 or email at [email protected]. The priority seating deadline is Monday, December 12th at Noon.

All game ticket holders receive free access to Dexcom WinterFest before the game and a code that unlocks discounts at over 100 local San Diego restaurants and attractions.

Travel options are available through the official travel partner of Wyoming Athletics, New Horizons Travel. Call 970-223-7400 for details and package information. If you are planning your own travel, please be aware that LAX and John Wayne airports may provide cost-effective alternatives to flying direct to San Diego.

A great week of events is planned leading up to the game on Wednesday.

Wednesday –
Official Wyoming Tailgate at Qualcomm Stadium, starting at 2:30pm PST
· Presented by: The Cowboy Joe Club, Alexander Excavation Inc, Infinity Power & Controls, Western States Bank, Cannon Oil & Gas, Cowboys in Colorado, Bud Light, Coors Light and the Brown & Gold Outlet
· Location: Tailgate Lot at Qualcomm Stadium
· Includes: Premium All-American Tailgate Buffet, 3 drink tickets for water, soda, Coors Light or Bud Light plus access to the Brown & Gold Outlet Retail Location

Burman stressed on a conference call tonight that fans should get their tickets through UW athletics so they have access to the best seats, and to help UW fill their allotment.

 

[Stuck]

We booked the Ramada St. James in the Gaslamp District. Gorgeous part of town and close to Trolley stops as well as bus stops. The hotel also provide free airport transfers.
The hotel is located just 2 blocks from Horton Plaza where the Gaslamp March takes place.
Next door is an amazing restaurant named Brians 24. Portions are so huge that you'd be advised to share!
You can get a 4 day unlimited Trolley/bus pass for $20. You can get all over town with it and even use it to get to and from the game.
I'd highly recommend the Team Luncheon on the USS Midway aircraft carrier. It is $50 pp, but it would cost you $25 just to access the museum on any other day. I spent 1979 on this ship and it is an awesome experience to visit.
Needless to say, we are very excited for the entire Bowl Game experience!
