As far as I know but I think the senate is less likely to remove the funds. More good ole boy network over there that supports the university. At least that how I see it but I don't know much.

Senate does not have an amendment similar to this one up for reading in their version of the bill. Only way it gets taken out now is during the conference committee when the two bills come together after they pass the house and senate.
