Playing Michigan State

After reading through all of the press coverage from MSU and learning of the ties between Bohl and Dantonio, I think that playing MSU is a great thing. We play similar styles of football. MSU is what Bohl wants Wyoming to become. There is no better way to instill a sense of the future at UW than playing the team that you want UW to become.

My one concern is injuries - but, heck, injuries can come from anywhere (ask CSU with Bennett going down in practice or the Detroit Lions with the dude that got hurt celebrating a sack). We may get killed, but I think that this exposure is great, especially in an area that Bohl wants to set up shop recruiting.

I will also say that MSU is becoming one of my favorite teams on the national scene. Classy coaches. Great AD.

Agreed. Last year while watching the Rose Bowl between Stanford and MSU I couldn't help but get excited to see what our program could look like.

This will be a great experience for our players to see an example of Bohl's vision.

i like it myself too bad we couldn't have scheduled a 3 for 1 with them as well, maybe someday, they are a hard nosed team doing things similar to us. I think we'll cover the spread(again) and i like the fact we're playing on natural grass for a change!!! Cmon Pokes, Beat Sparty(or close...lol)
