GoWyoGo is reporting the Eric Platt and Travis Nelson have been released from the scholarship by Heath. Can we call this a total cleansing of UW basketball in the making?

I must say that has to be the best statement I've seen on this. Bravo!
I don't think it has anything to do with sucking up.
Nelson had been with the program for 3 years and didn't show much improvment.Nelson was encouraged to find someplace where his skills would allow him to play.
Platt was told the areas he needed to improve and the role he would play. He also saw the new guys as he played against them for the whole year in practice. He saw the writing on the wall and didn't want to ride the pines.Platt asked to be released.I actually admire that to a point.He would rather go someplace that he could play than stay at Wyoming and sit.To bad he didn't think that if he put in the work he could earn his PT.
Schroyer wants athletes that can run the floor,finish in the paint,shoot the ball,defend the entire 90 feet.He wanted to play a 4 out 1 in and neither of those guys fit.He has brought in athletes so we will see if he can coach.He has the parts now.

This will be the place I post because I refuse to pay for a free board. the wife and I we have our own accounts on gowyogo but hers is the pay account so that we could see the occasional article or picture on the premium board at gowyogo.My account was the free one.Now they want pay for the free board so I am in self imposed exile.Besides I can get better info than most on the board,I just liked the debate and interaction..Oh well
