Plans to sell naming rights of the AA and War? Thoughts?

Wise words…our state has allowed outsiders to eliminate our energy future.

Wow. What a kick to the nuts these freedom caucus assholes delivered to the people of Wyoming . I am disgusted

It’s embarrassing when the company itself acknowledges that Wyoming’s regulatory environment created by the legislature is the reason it has to look at states like Tennessee more willing to accept new energy industries.

Some renewables like geothermal and hydropower are actually very reliable and can be ramped up to produce energy when you need it. Will be interesting if we see more geothermal generation in the future, especially in old/abandoned oil and gas wells.
I can get on board with geothermal. To me, it makes more sense than the others. There’s a place for solar ,like on the roof of every home since all new generation seems to be going to data centers. Hell, there’s even room for some wind, but not the giant white turbines that look super shitty. They make turbines that spin on a vertical access. this allows them to spin from wind blowing from any direction. Not as tall and the concrete barriers can be painted to match environments. Barely can tell theyre out there.

My personal belief when it comes to wind, solar, oil and gas, coal and critical mineral mining, nuclear, geothermal, you name it…Wyoming should embrace it all and who is the government to tell private landowners what they can and can’t do with their land.
