Pitt drops to Utah

Man I was rooting for Pitt all night they just had some awful plays and way to many errors specially in the turnover department. It was a good game but I really wanted to see Utah leave the MWC with a losing record so they can sit and be humbled with the Mediocre teams at the bottom of the Pac 10.

Oh well time to root for whoever is playing BYU maybe I'll feel better with a 50/50 ratio

I was actually going for Utah in this one, and I'd say they were even sloppier with their bad fumbles and penalties. It's still better for MWC if our teams win their OOC games... now if Wyoming somehow manages to beat Utah, it'll count for a lot more than it would have if they had lost.

Agreed. Both teams looked very sloppy. Utah has 2 great RBs in Wide and Asiata, yet they really couldn't get anything going. And the number of fouls called, yeesh.

Anyways, I think Utah will be ranked after this, as I believe they were recieving votes to be ranked (if I'm not mistaken).

Utah were already #24 in the coaches' poll, and in AP, I believe they were #26 or something, so yeah... they'll be ranked without a doubt.

I made the mistake of looking at the comments on ESPN about this game. Everybody keeps trashing that the MWC doesn't play any tough games, wah wah wah, and that they wouldn't have a chance in the Big East, Pac-10, ACC, SEC, whatever. Then they keep talking about how the only reason Pitt lost was because of the freshman QB's mistake at the end, handily forgetting that Utah held Pitt to less than 270 yards, and outgained them by over 140 yards. The only thing that kept this close was Utah's HUGE mistakes and awful special teams play.

I hope Pitt wins out now, so that this win will be worth more for Utah and the other MWC teams. I'm almost to the point where I'm hoping BYU will win their game too.

And I hope that Boise freaking SLAUGHTERS VT. I'm sick of hearing the comments of how "weak" our teams and schedules are.
