How'd u like the game doc? Nice to see pokes take care of a team we were suppose to beat

It was great, obviously...the offensive line has me very excited for the rest of the season.

I spoke with Coach Sage on the field before the game and I mentioned to him that the lines on both sides of the ball seem much more physical this season.

Great crowd today, lets hope this season is the antithesis of what we saw a year ago.

Go POKES!

Official announcement was 22k. There were big empty spots in the top corners of the stadium.

Visitors section had so few Vandals fans that Poke fans went over and sat there. And other than the extreme edges/corners, it was pretty full there.

ESPN says 22K but I call BS.
That place was packed.
What were you smoking Beaver it was far from packed.

When the game started it was packed.
The lightning delay lost a few thousand, and so did half time.
The first quarter the place was very packed. Not sold out or anything but the entire lower sections were filled, and the top on the west was pretty packed, and on the east you could tell that people were trying to avoid the shitty corners where you can only see 30 yards of the field.

Were you there in the west stands looking at the east side or just see it on tv?
I was in the East Stands looking West, and was pretty full from what I saw, minus the visitor's section, which was mostly Poke fans that went there for some extra leg room.

22K???

Wow...if there was only 22K in the house today color me shocked.

I was thinking at least 25K for this game based upon what I saw on both sides of the stands...wow.

I'd call it about 24k as a guess. I was in the upper west stands and there was some wiggle room up there - nothing like the Texas or Nebraska games where people were trying to sit on your lap. It was a good showing. The upper east corners were a bit empty as well as the lower north east section.

The damned lightning delay always ruins games. The last time I remember that happening was back in 2007 when we played New Mexico. We were beating them - the delay came in, nobody showed up, and we lost. Glad we picked it up and won it today, however.

I was up in the press box, so I had a pretty good view. I would say that 22k is pretty accurate, the north end of the student section wasn't very full at the begining of the game, and the upper sections were fairly empty. Not a bad turnout though, just keep winning and people will come.

I think next week will be even bigger, weather will still be good UNC should have some fans we had a big win, almost shocked Nebraska. Crowds should continue to grow

It looked more than 22k to me as well. The visitors section was really empty. On the plus side that was the largest student section I have seen in a long time, maybe the biggest I remember for a non premier opponent. I know those areas have been packed before, but usually students are only standing and rowdy in the two sections by the 50 yard line.

Good showing by the students.
