Per Gagliardi: Allen with a collarbone

No more than two games and a debilitating injury. Yep, he'll qualify if it's broken.

It is 3 contests or more than 30%, whichever is greater. As Wyo plays 12 games, 30% would be 3.6. They typically round up. So you could play in 4 games, but not 5, and still be eligible.

Very small silver lining if it's the collarbone. That injury will take longer to heal, but likely means he'll be back at full strength. I was thinking it was rotator cuff or other tear, which could have meant he doesn't make it back to full strength. Small silver lining, but I'll take it.

GO POKES!

Bohl: Josh Allen will go under surgery and apply for medical hardship waiver.

Hate to see that happen - good that he is applying for the medical though. I really liked what I saw from him Saturday. During that short time, he rivaled anything I saw from Brett & ASScs.

I was salivating sitting in the stands for those 20 real-time min when he was our quarterback. Allen has a laser arm and is super mobile. That roll out where he threw that 7 yd out on a frozen rope to someone was amazing. So was that back-shoulder throw to Gentry (which was right on the money that he dropped - Allen's only incompletion, btw). I was thinking that Coffman would never get his job back. Tough, tough break. This year is a complete throw-away year.

At least fans will have something to be excited about the end of this terrible season.

Very true. If there is one thing to hang the 'ol hat on left - his return is probably it. And the return of Brian Hill as well. Not very much else.
