I saw quite a few others that have him as a potential candidate.

The wild card here is that they lost TX recruiting. Do they try to get someone who can establish that again or do they get someone who focuses on recruits available to them? Bohl's message and theory about recruiting should resonate well at NE. If they think he can do it, then who knows, I guess. I still don't think there is much of a chance, but you never know.

If I were Bohl, I'd have my resume' to them.

That's why they want Mack Brown

Brown definitely has recruiting inroads in TX. The only thing I wonder about that is if he would be as effective recruiting top caliber TX kids since NE doesn't play in TX. Also, I think Mack was slipping a bit with the rise of other TX schools and TAMU going to the SEC.

That's the thing. He might have had recruits from other states wanting to come play for Texas, but he didn't have to go looking for them.
