Son of a f##king bitch! Who's the little dipshit that lost the f##king trophy!? Not to mention, someone BROKE it. They f##king BROKE the Paniolo Trophy? How damn stupid do you have to be to do that!?
cheypoke said:Wow, doenst UW look stupid. I can understand how a trophy could get damaged. But how does it just walk out the door without something knowing where it went? If it went somewhere to be repaired, the must have been an estimate given to the AD before hand. If it has disappeared, it needs to be replaced. And i'm not sure the AD would be entitled to spend money on that. Have to be boosters. How big is the trophy? Does anyone know?
Cornpoke said:Well this is truly embarrassing. So they sent it to get repaired and forgot about it? It's probably sitting on someones mantle or something. I guarantee someone knows where it is.
Kevin McKinney said, "We have looked everywhere for it here and it is not to be found. (We) were talking about it and we seem to remember that it had been damaged and was in a shop over there for repairs."

does that mean we would've sent a broken trophy to hawaii for repairs?
makes senseWyokie said:Just thought of a theory...
The last game between the two was in Honolulu. On the way, the trophy got damaged on the flight so while on Oahu, whoever was in charge of the trophy took it to a repair shop in Honolulu. Paid for the repair but forgot to go back to pick up the trophy.

how bout, the trophy took longer to repair than wyoming was on the island...and the repair shop owner (who happens to be a long time rainbows fan) just kept putting off the return of the trophy until the phone calls stopped
voila....free trophy
H20 said:Paid and forgot is unlikely, you really think no one asked the guy that dropped it off "hey where's the trophy?" as soon as they got back? Let alone 14 years? To me, not paid for and didn't care cause they were off to "greener pastures" sounds more plausible. Then again its something that could have been totally made up to somehow make Hawaii seem at least a little responsible as well.
